A Message From Our Superintendent
April 2025
Dear Bears,
We are in the final countdown! Please check the Events calendar at the bottom of our website for all of the upcoming events—we have quite a few special events occurring this month. I look forward to seeing our families at these events.
I would like to congratulate TSA on their second State Championship!! Congratulations to Mrs. Newton and her TSA team of students for all of their hard work.

Also, we would like to celebrate Logan McNeil and Sabra Clark for placing first and third in the State Firefighting SkillsUSA competition. Logan will be going to Nationals in June!

At our April School Board Meeting, we recognized teachers and staff for going above and beyond. Those staff members are Ms. Barnes (third grade), Mrs. Engle (MS Math), Mrs. Sakala (HS Secretary), Mr. Booky (HS CTE), and Mrs. McNatt (Health Assistant).
Cloudcroft FFA competed in State CDES in Las Cruces last month in Dairy, Horse, Livestock, Pasture, and Range, and a group of middle schoolers in Landscape Design. They competed well and had fun.

Our Powerlifting Team attended State again this year. While medals were not brought home this year, they performed well, and we are very proud of them.

Congratulations to all of our seniors who received the Written in Red Scholarship this year.

Last month, we also celebrated the end of the American Heart Association Kids Heart Challenge. They raised $6071.27. Students who raised the most money were given a cup of slime to dump on Nurse Many or Principal Adams. Great job, students.

We are proud of all of the Elementary Students who participated in the Little Bear Basketball season. Thank you to all the coaches, athletes, and parents for making the program a success!

Our Summer Youth Program is gearing up for another fun summer!

I warmly invite all parents and community members to join us for Cloudcroft Municipal Schools’ end-of-year events this May. Your involvement not only enriches these celebrations but also reinforces the collaborative spirit that makes our school community thrive. Let’s come together to honor our students and the collective efforts that contribute to their success.
