Voting takes place for candidates who are running for our school board on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. We will have an open forum on Wednesday, October 30 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. There will be a few standardized questions each candidate will answer and then an open forum with a moderator. We will stream it live on our Cloudcroft Municipal Schools Facebook page for those who cannot make it in so you can also be part of it.

We need you to vote on the Capital Improvements Act (SB-9). Please click on the link below to read more about how reauthorizing this act provides ongoing funding for our school, which in turn is for our students. Taxes will remain the same since this is a continuance, not a new act. We need you to vote on November 5! A community is only as good as its schools!
Join us Wednesday, October 23, at 6:00 p.m. in the Cloudcroft High School commons for "Business After Hours" (partnered with the Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce.) There will be a short, informative session about the Capital Improvements Act (SB-9), and light refreshments will be provided by our culinary class along with entertainment by the Cloudcroft school band. Please join us for this event!
Cloudcroft Municipal Schools, along with districts across our area, state, and nation, are adopting the ALICE model. ALICE is an acronym that stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. This model is a proactive approach which empowers individuals to respond based on information that is available to them – it includes the ability to evacuate if the option is available. For more information, please take a moment to read our ALICE flyer.
